【徵才條件】
(1) 國內外大學或研究機構博士畢業者，科系不拘，但具備電磁學理論背景或數值模擬經驗者尤佳。
(2) 有使用 Linux 系統及任何程式語言如 MATLAB, Fortran, Python 等經驗佳。
(3) 具獨立思考、研究熱誠、熱心負責、良好溝通協調能力和團隊合作之精神。

【工作內容】
(1) 使用數值模擬程式計算托克馬克(核融合裝置)中的各種電漿現象。
(2) 配合國科會磁約束高溫電漿研究計劃之實施進程與實驗團隊合作完成各項模擬比對工作。

【薪資待遇】本職缺依本校[博士後研究人員研究費支給標準表]敘薪，博後第一年 65,010 元起。

【研究主題】國科會專題研究計畫 — 「磁約束高溫電漿研究」計畫。
我們已經啟動台灣首座球型托克馬克(Sphercial tokamak)核融合設施的建造，並將之命名為 FIRST(Formosa Integrated Research Spherical Tokamak），致力於實現終極綠能──核融合發電。我們的目標不僅在於為臺灣提供永續且高效的能源，更立志在國際核融合研究舞台上贏得關注和競爭。
球型托克馬克是一種未來「袖珍」形核融合反應電廠的選項之一。其結構緊湊，使其在低磁場下仍能保持高度效率，且能大幅減少建造成本。此外球型托克馬克設計有助於提高電漿穩定性，並提高能量融合效率。我們預計將其設置在桃園龍潭的國家原子能科技研究院，並在建造初期由成功大學前瞻電漿研究中心領導設計及模擬的工作。

摘要：
The study of quantum systems coupled to an environment plays a vital role in how we measure temperatures of the coldest and hottest matter in the universe. The strategy relies on introducing impurities into the system of interest and on observing how these probe particles evolve towards or in equilibrium with their surroundings, from which we may in turn deduce the thermal properties of that environment. Originally studied in the context of condensed matter physics, open quantum systems nowadays provide a common language to research spanning multiple orders of magnitude in temperature, ranging from Bose Einstein condensates made of ultracold atoms to the Quark-Gluon plasma created in ultra-relativistic collisions of heavy ions. This talk builds a bridge from polaron impurities in the former to quarkonium particles in the latter as two manifestations of quantum Brownian motion, a phenomenon ideally described by open quantum systems.

The NCTS Theoretical and Computational Astrophysics (TCA) is happy to announce the 2025 undergraduate summer student program (SSP). The SSP aims to bring research experiences in theoretical and computational astrophysics to undergraduate students, featuring:
(1) One 3-day workshop on July/01-03 (Tue-Thu) at NTU
(2) A two-month (01 July – 31 Aug) full-time research program
(3) Final oral presentation on Aug/28-29 (Thu-Fri) at NTHU
